The first race of the 2018 NGK F1 Powerboat Championship Series will be in Port Neches Texas this year. THRILLS! CHILLS! AND SPILLS! as always will be provided by John Schubert and S.P.O.R.T. (Southern Professional Outboard Racing Tour) – 2 days of “Thunder on the Neches” Tunnel Boat Racing. The Port Neches RiverFest is the only event of its kind in Southeast Texas.

This FREE to the Public Event, in cooperation with the City of Gulfport, will transform the downtown area into a mecca of activity along Shore and Beach Boulevards. Powerboat Racing will make the Gulfport Recreation Center home for the weekend, while an antique and pleasure boat display will be staged along Shore Boulevard South.  Beach Boulevard South will serve as the main entrance with

FREE Parking on and off site with a Shuttle to the Event.

NGK F1 Powerboat Championship is back for the 2nd year atet eh newly named Champions Park. Clark County Fairgrounds and the City of Springfield have embarked to develop the First Privately Held Multi-Use Permanent Powerboat Racing Facility in the World. Are you ready to go racing in Springfield, Ohio. World Champion Boat Racers have already been developed in Springfield from years past of dedication of local businessmen. Now is time to put Springfield, Ohio on the International Boat Racing Map again in 2018.

Showdown On The Sabine

Orange, TX : September 14-16


The Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting the 9th  annual “Showdown on the Sabine” SPORT Tunnel Boat Races.  This event will be held September 16 – 18 at the City of Orange Boat Ramp from 3 P.M. – 6 P.M. on Friday, September 16 and 9 A.M. – 5 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday, September 17 – 18.

This event will include 50 to 60 racers from the United States and Canada.  Food and drink vendors will be on site serving BBQ, hamburgers, kabobs, links, deserts, and much more!  There will be a children’s activity area, which will include a variety of activities for all ages.

There will be live entertainment by Jamie Talbert and the Band of Demons at the Riverfront Pavilion on Friday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m.  Please bring your chairs and coolers for the concert only and please note, no dogs or pets will be allowed at the Riverfront Boardwalk and Pavilion.

This event is free to the public, and please note, no dogs, no pets, and no coolers will be allowed at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.
